I listen
Carefully, openly, and without arriving with a ready-made answer for you.
Person-centred counselling
The thoughts. The feelings. The memories. The hopes. The contradictions. The things you understand about yourself — and the things you don't have words for yet.

We can begin where you are
Perhaps something has happened and you're finding it difficult to make sense of. Maybe things have been building for a while. Or you can't quite explain why you're here — only that something doesn't feel right.
A person-centred approach
I'll listen carefully to what you offer me and pay attention to what seems to be happening for you. Sometimes I might notice something and offer it back to you — perhaps something in what you've said, or something I notice between us.
Carefully, openly, and without arriving with a ready-made answer for you.
We can become curious about what is said, felt, remembered or happening between us.
You remain the person who decides what feels important and where we go next.
If you want to spend some time somewhere, we can. If you want to explore somewhere else, we can do that too. You may not know exactly where you need to go. That's okay. You don't have to.
I'm there alongside you.02
The relationship matters
I'm a counsellor, but I'm also a person.
When I was a client, I sometimes wondered about the person sitting across from me. Who were they? What was I allowed to ask them? Could I really have a relationship with someone who knew so much about me while I knew very little about them?
I think those are reasonable questions.
Finding a way of being together where you feel able to bring what is yours into the room matters. I want to be genuine and present with you, while respecting the boundaries and responsibilities that come with being your counsellor.

A little about me
I'm a person-centred counsellor, and I work with people who are trying to understand something about their lives, themselves or their relationships.
You might be experiencing anxiety, struggling with something from your past, questioning aspects of yourself, or simply finding that life doesn't feel quite right at the moment.
I don't believe I can know your experience better than you do. My role is to listen carefully, pay attention to what you bring, and sometimes offer back what I notice so that we can become curious about it together.
I aim to be warm, honest and present with you, while respecting the boundaries and responsibilities of being your counsellor.
